Congratulations to Michael Perry who won the 4th place trophy with four wins and only one loss. His only loss was to the #1 player. Michael was the top 4th grader in the 4th-6th section. Although he just got his bronze medal last tournament, he already has 21.5 merit points and is only 3.5 from his silver.
That's back-to-back trophies and Michael has become one of the top young players in Minnesota.

Dayton Home Schoolers Shine at Tournament!
Congratulations to Michael Perry who won his first four games and played for the Twin Cities 4th grade championship. Michael finished in 3rd place out of 44 4th graders and brought home the 3rd place trophy.
Michael also was presented with a bronze medal for having won 10 games in tournament competition.
Congratulations also to Samuel Heinemann who had his best tournament ever, scoring 3.5 points.
Samuel's only loss was to the eventual 3rd place winner. He finished in 10th out of 46 3rd graders.
